Casa Pilar dates back to the beginning of the 20th century and is on a 100 000m² farm. It´s located in a natural enclave is ideal for enjoying Fuerteventuran nature with its volcanoes, in an open space which is sunny during the day, enabling guests to enjoy an unforgettable holiday. We have attempted to achieve a decoration which combines the traditional with the innovative to create a relaxed, welcoming, romantic and intimate atmosphere. The house is located at the meeting point of two natural features, Malpais Grande, with the impressive Los Arrabales crater, and the Cuchillos de Vigán natural monument, where one can visit the Valle de la Cueva (Valley of the Cave). In this place the traditional "Apañadas" event is still practiced, which brings together all the wild goat population to be branded. Nearby we have the aboriginal town of La Atalayita, where we can see the way of life of the Mahos, the original inhabitants of the island. It is an area full of culture, tradition, nature and tranquillity. Two kilometres to the east of the town of Atalayita we find the Pozo Negro (Black Well) Beach on a spectacularly beautiful piece of coast, whose natural port can be found on maps from the XV century. 10 minutes from the Casa Pilar you can find the Fuerteventura Golf Club, an impressive 18-hole golf club.
