This house was built in the 18th century - that being the oldest part � the modern part was built in 1930, and completely renovated in 2006 by the owners of the house themselves, taking great care to conserve its original structure as much as possible, adding to it modern electrical and plumbing installations, as well as air conditioning and heating, and a fully equipped kitchen. The construction style of the houses around the area as a whole is very traditional and they date form the beginning of the 16th century, while the streets keep their original form and charming little pockets.

This house is situated in a hamlet by the name of "Los Llanos" in a peaceful setting just a 0.5 Km. From the village of Fataga. The village is located in a valley with an altitude of 600 mts. enjoying a warm gentle climate nearly all year round, surrounded by mountains with peaks of up to 1100 mts. and just 18 Km. away from the tourist resort area of La Playa del Ingl�s. It is a highly rural setting with a great variety of Canarian macaronesic wildlife . The Valley extends along 10 Kms. with an average width of 2 Km. there are a multitude of narrow winding paths to go on long walks taking you up to 1000 mts. high, with a road which cuts through from south to north reaching the town of Tejeda and the highest point on the whole island (Los Pechos) with an altitude of 1956 mts. and a distance of 40 Km. from Fataga. There is also a doctor�s service available three days a week, a supermarket, petrol station (shop with WI-FI availability), three restaurants and a cash point. Lovers of climbing can enjoy their sport next to the Fataga reservoir, just five minutes from the village itself.
